Why do You Need a Trane Extended Warranty?

Trane has always offered the strongest manufacturer's limited warranty available—anywhere. Like all good things, it too will come to an end.

Seasonal Extreme Environmental Test Lab
Mechanical Components Fail

Trane is recognized as a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of quality conditioning products and accessories. Millions of dollars have been invested in laboratory stress tests which allow Trane engineers to design units with minimum failures. However—any mechanical product is subject to failure.

Hedge Against Inflation

Today's service calls that result in repair bills are expensive. Each year parts and labor costs continue to rise. At today's prices, one service call to replace a minor part can easily cost $100.00 or more. Imagine what these costs will be in the years to come. With Trane's Extended Warranty you will know your cost for total comfort—up to 10 years in advance.

Peace of Mind

When you purchase a Trane Extended Warranty agreement, you don't have to worry about failures. Unplanned repair bills will be a thing of the past. For the term of your agreement—Trane pays the bills.

Assurance of Commitment

When you purchase your Extended Warranty, you are entering into an agreement with the manufacturer of your equipment—the Trane Company. Your equipment will be serviced and repaired by Trane's servicing dealers. Trane's National Service Training Programs provide up-to-date knowledge of equipment and service techniques.

Trane Extended Warranty Provides
  • The opportunity to purchase coverage in five or ten year increments on new equipment and one year increments on older equipment that is less than five years old.

  • Coverage that may include parts only or parts and labor for the duration of the agreement.

  • Service, if you should require it. The Trane Company will pay your approved service provider for repairs your system on all covered parts.

  • A covered repair is a failure of any component inside the system being covered. This failure must not have been caused by an act of God, nor the failure of the equipment owner to provide proper routine maintenance as recommended in the owner's guide.

  • The Trane Company will pay for service work performed during the service provider's normal working hours. If emergency service is required, you simply pay the additional charges over regular day rates.

  • An agreement between the Trane Company and you.

  • For a small fee, the Trane Extended Warranty may be transferred to the new owner should you sell your home.

  • Peace of mind, low cost coverage.

For less than the cost of a soft drink a day, you can have peace of mind. Unplanned repair bills will be a thing of the past.

Ask United Energy for program details. Years and years of reliable protection for your new Trane Comfort System can be purchased at a low cost. It's just another reason to insist on the Trane Extended Warranty program.
